Carry over unused FSA money
DSM is excited to introduce an update to the Health Care FSA and Limited FSA. You can carry over up to $500 of your unused flexible spending account balance remaining at the end of 2015 into 2016. You avoid losing unused money at the end of the year!

New prescription drug out-of-pocket maximum (PPO’s only)
There is a separate out-of-pocket maximum for prescription drugs in the High Option and Low Option PPO plans. The new limit helps lower your potential out-of-pocket costs for covered prescription drug expenses.

More support for your health
If you enroll in a DSM medical plan, you have 24/7 access to a doctor via phone or computer through American Well, a Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) program. In addition, DSM is partnering with BCBS and AIM Specialty Health to provide support locating diagnostic imaging providers and diagnosing and treating sleep disorders.

Take Action!

  • If you have a spouse enrolled in your medical coverage, be sure to answer the question about spouse/domestic partner eligibility to avoid the $1,200 spousal surcharge if it doesn’t apply. If you do nothing and have a spouse/domestic partner enrolled in your 2015 medical coverage, the spousal surcharge will be applied.
  • Re-enrollment is required to participate in a flexible spending account for 2015.
  • If you re-enroll in the CDHP, make an HSA contribution election for 2015.
